The day after their arrival to Kyoto, I decided to take these two on their first shopping adventure! Being that Kyoto isn't like the major cities such as Tokyo or Osaka, there are only 2 main shopping areas. I luckily live right in the middle within walking distance of these two areas.
I first brought them to Shijo and Sanjo where they had the major stores and malls like OPA, Loft, Round 1, among others.
We greeted our day with having a mini photoshoot in my room displaying our outfits for that day.
Then around early afternoon, started on our journey towards Shijo.
We spent most of our time going through every floor in OPA (pretty much like Kyoto's 109) and also walking through the "shopping tunnel", Teramachi.
I felt excited for Janis and Lani seeing them get excited seeing their favorite gyaru brands in OPA. Even more excitement as we went to the various street side stores and endless 300yen cute shops.
The phrase of the day was pretty much "BRACE YOURSELF". Haha.
We ended our day eating at my favorite donburi-ya, Yayoiken. I call it a donburi-ya because it's one of those 24-hour affordable-eatstop where you pay at the machine before sitting, a place to get a quick bite to eat, but you don't get that donburi-ya feel with Yayoiken and also not to mention endless bowls of free rice!
The food also comes to you freshly cooked, still sizzling!
Phew okay, I'm talking too much about food. ^____^
That night Janis and I ended up staying up till the early hours of the morning while Lani fell asleep first while uploading pics from our funfilled day.
NOW ON TO THE PICS AND VIDEO FROM THAT DAY~
